portre ressami by kiwinessComment: Woohoooo! My highest score eva, kewl..... Thanx for all your comments and votes. I am very happy about this photo, it is one of my best photos so far and it turned out exactly the way I wanted it. One thing I learnt in this challenge was how subjective portrait photography can be. So many contradicting comments this time, wow! I tried so much on this photo, different crops etc, but this is the way I liked it best of all. The catch lights in her eyes are that big on purpose, exactly how I wanted it. I used a larger soft box to give the impression that it is a reflection of a window, and to lose the feeling of this being a studio shot. Thanx again, it's good to be back :) |

My Babyby StevePaxComment: I find that this portrait is a little too squashed in from the top, maybe you should have left more room top and bottomwise. |

Selfportraitby willemComment: Goddag :) Well taken photo especially as a self portrait, it isn't so easy is it! Show me a few more teeth and I would probably see a photo like this in an ad for toothpaste. Man you got white teeth! Anyway another top quality pic as I would expect to see from you. Keep up the good work, your photos are a pleasure to view. |

expression of self...by theodor38Comment: buenos dÃas! A very intensive stare you got there, but very natural and fitting. A touch over exposed on some skin areas which robs ths skin tones somewhat. Still a good entry though, good on ya! |

Prayers For Spainby MWittComment: I recognise this face. You have the same hair cut as me :) Good portrait, well lit. The pose is very natural, well done. |

Hypnotic Stare by librodoComment: The hair blowing across her face is what does it for this photo. I get the sense of movement by it and at the same time her eyes are looking at me in a frozen stare. Good composition, the negative space on the right in the direction of the wind blowing is a good touch. I also like the way the thumb is pointing in that direction. I personally would have done a little extra photoshop work on the eyes, a slight bit sharper and also I would have dodged the whites of the eyes to make them a tiny bit lighter. |
