i really like lensbabys, but as i understand them (don't have one myself) the selective focus should be used to highlight your main subject. it appears to me the area of focus is off the path and to the L. Good try, see grigrigirl (?sp) for some spectacular lensbaby shots

i believe that is really tough to make this type of subject very interesting, the lighting here looks good, but you've blurred the bark a bit, otherwise there really isn't too much to look at

interesting shot, i like the man looking out of frame, the pole with the wires et al makes your point about the electricity, but imo the bright sky is very distracting and pulls the eye up and out fo the photo. i think you may have been able to crop down below the cylinder, avoided the sky and still made your point. i do like the processing here too

nice shot, good composition, the reds just seem a bit over saturated, the shadows add nicely to the depth of the picture. the fence in the background unfortunately runs just at her head level and is a little distracting. overall nice shot, to me the biggest problem are the reds just turn into red blobs
