The Big One Got Away by DianaComment: This does not meet the challenge in my opinion. The challenge was to only have your subject in the frame....which would be no background or grass, etc. |

Helicopter in negativeby JohannesFrankComment: I think the negative hurt the photo a little here. It doesn't give it a since of flying or being in air. You nearly took the whole wing aspect out of it as you took out the flying feel to it. |

Flyingby Rach1969Comment: Great shot. If you would have moved over slightly to the right to keep his other hand in the frame I think this would have been even better. You would have not only captured him figuratively, but you would have also had his arms (human wings) looking as if they are helping him float. |

Not giving you DNMC votes, but because i can't see what exactly it is, I can't see the emotion either. A side profile may have worked better for this. Also you could have cropped out more of the bottom as well. |
