I like the look and the tattoos on your subject. Does have the street survivor look. But a man with all these tattoos is meant to have a tough look to him. A man hardened by the streets...I think softening the edges of the photo hurts it jsut a bit. I also think you should darken the background a bit too. Still i really like the idea here.
