Low Key, Rule of Thirds, Shallow DOFby ThatChickOverThereComment: I think your intent was to have the puddle at the bottom be your main subject. But the lighting and lines lead me directly to the "waterfall" which is directly in the center of the photo rather than at a third. I also think you have too much light (in my opinion) to be low key. The photo itself is very serene and I like it's simplicity. |

Centered Composition, High Key, Portraitby timfythetooComment: I love the hair and skin. I think you did a great job capturing the portrait. Can't tell whethere I like the edit on the eyes or not, there is just something slightly bothering me about her left eye (my right). My only real problem with the fold is the complete lose of detail on her shoulder. It looks like half her body is missing. |

High Key, Portrait, Stop Actionby jimboneComment: I think you went too far with the high key attempted. You lose her entire chin, neck, shoulders, arm, and wrists. Even some ofo the outline of her hand. You could be better served showing the entire broken umbrella as well to give it a little more personality. |

Bokeh, Rule of Thirds, Shallow DOFby lynnesiteComment: It looks closer to center composition to me, but I love how sharp the photo is and the color you captured on the calf. The early morning/late evening sun brings out the color |

Backlit Centered Tiltby BlackboxComment: I think your tilt is a little extreme (but I've said that about quite a few tilts). I don't know what that glaring line across the photo is from but it's really hurting this photo as well as the huge glare off the left window. And even without the tilt, i'm not a big fan of the crop, but the crop seems to me as if it were because of the tilt done in post processing. |

Long Exposure, Low Key, Rule of Thirdsby rlewisComment: Looks closer to center composition, but I think this is a great shot. I think the use of the open door as a light is just a great touch to it. Sometimes simple is so much better. |

Fly over Lincoln Memorialby SnopawComment: Center Composition, Leading Lines, ????. Judging the photo itself, the plane is a distraction. You can't determine which is your actual subject, the plane or the building.
Edited: Took a second look at the shot and bumped it up 2 points. |

Deep DOF, High Key, Portraitby loveComment: Okay definitely not Deep DOF. Probably more of shallow DOF. You could have also used soft focus. The soft focus of the photo is making me like it more. The black and white is good also. I think her nose and under her eyes should be toned down some though. I know it's use of high key, but it looks as if it went just a tad bit too far. |
