I generally like reflections in things but mostly when they are absract reflections. like art within the picture but here you can clearly see you the wall and a picture frame. it doesnt really add anything to have a snapshot within a wonderful artsy picture. also there is some dirt or something in the lower left hand corner that is distracting. i do like the composition and your subjects.

wonderful use of light. I can never get those star shapes without the rest of my shot showing the effects of harsh ligthing. you did a fantastic job here.

this is quite nice. I love simple. obviously there is dirt or whatnot that would be much better cloned out but seeing as you cant do that in advanced its still a nice shot. lovely color.

I like the contrast and composition. I just think etched glass always tends to look unfocused due to its nature. very nice lighting also.

Nice idea. I think this glass is a bit too textured so you lose almost all of the childs features. maybe if they smooshed thier face into it youd still get a couple good focus areas to give the photo more interest. I do like the concept though.

Reflected Passion

I think the lighting is a little too harsh in parts and her expression is a little off putting. She's a Beautiful women! Don't get me wrong. But with passion in the title I'd hope to see some sign of that other than the "fine. i'll stand here for the pic. just hurry it up. I got laudry to go fold." look and stance. I'd prefer she were at least visibly holding the man as well.the tones in this photo are great and of course its plenty sharp. the technicals are there just not the emotion.
