Nasturtiumsby GeneralEComment: I like this image. We call these "kappertjies". I really love the colors and textures of the leaves, although I don't personally feel that a repeating pattern meets the intent of the challenge brief of filling the frame with a subject. |

Snow On Iceby MaryOComment: Living in a warmer climate, it is always interesting to see these kinds of photos! Did you desaturate the image to make it feel like a black and white? |

Curated Chaosby ExposureTherapyComment: This hurts my OCD! I can't decide which hurts more... the missing cap... the color chaos... the random numbers...
Good use of DOF to draw the eye towards the center of the image. |

A touch of springby hajekaComment: Nice, sharp macro! It's always difficult to create depth in an image like this, where everything is essentially the same color. |

The Protectorby RefocusedComment: this is such an interesting subject! The image feels a little flat though. Dropping a couple of stops on the aperture setting or adding some lighting from the side to create longer shadows, would have helped IMHO. |

Balconies and Windows by LydiaComment: I like this image but feel it could have benefitted from a polarizing filter to remove (or at least reduce) the reflections. |

1000 piece make one big circleby sjshafComment: I like the colors of the puzzle and the subtle use of DOF. It feels like the white balance is slightly off, giving the photo a slight yellowish tinge. Also, while I understand you showed the edge, to demonstrate the circular form of the puzzle, the brownish bit at the bottom tends to draw the eye away from the puzzle itself. |
