Decades of despairby fotofrogComment: I really like this shot, but there is some strange texture to the whole scene, almost like it was shot through a screen-door, which is very distracting. Otherwise very nice. |

Big trouble, little man.by punchereloComment: Technically a very good shot, but I can't understand how such a beautiful little creature can instil a sense of despair (Guess you have to be a parent). Still I believe that based on technical quality alone the shot deserves at least an eight, I decided to deduct two points for the challenge- 6. |

Thorns of Despairby gerardComment: I like the use of DOF in this shot and the title is used effectively to describe the challenge. The grainy background is also interesting. That said, I think the shot might have worked better with a stronger light source. |
