This is about as country as you get :) I have two complaints with this shot. Firstly the focus is a little soft, not much, but enough to hurt the overall impression I get when looking at it. Secondly, the light seems very bright (middle of the afternoon?).

Nice view, great dramatic sky. I think this shot might have worked better at another time of the day. It seems to have been very bright out when you shot this, which not only causes your sky to be a washed out light blue, but makes the trees appear very dark. Also, the bright white in the foreground is distracting. Soft, late afternoon sunlight might have worked better =4

beautiful flower shot. Bet you're getting nailed by the anti-cliché bunch though : ) I have to admit that this is a bit of a stretch on the theme for me, but still a very striking image =5 (9 if it had been easier to connect to the challenge). Pitty you didn't get all of the flower on the left into the frame.

In my opinion this shot would have worked better as a black and white or sepia. I am not a big fan of this technique. I do however like the composition, and find the visual elements very interesting = 5
