11 and growingby vtruanComment: Looks a bit too much like a snapshot. The lighting is harsh, like a generic camera flash, the background and expression just don't suggest a deliberate portrait to me. |

Love Lostby cloudsmeComment: The blur elements to the skin are uneven and much too obvious. When I touch up like this, I usually reintroduce a little noise to mimic the surrounding skin texture. |

BIG BROTHERby arngrimurComment: I like the idea of the color wash, but I think it's too green. All I can think of is the Incredible Hulk. I'd like to see the color introduced more subtly. |

Self Portraitby amyr37Comment: It looks like your hair could have some great texture for the photo composition, but it's lost in the dark. I appreciate the idea, but I think the darkness detracts a bit. |

Skaterboy (self portrait)by totiComment: I think the photo is just too dark. The black background does nothing for the composition, which has the potential to be quite playful. |

Happy Fearby MrXpressComment: This is a fantastic idea, and the clarity is good, but the screen takes too much away from the potential impact. |

AnyThing HELPSby loveComment: The car is more in focus than the subject. It doesn't look right. |

POTby lulomaComment: This does not even come close to being a candid, not even if you're imaginative about the concept. |

;-)by bryanbrazilComment: Candids are moments of spontaneity. It's not a candid if you can tell that they're posing for you. |

Master? or Servant?by tngrndreamComment: This wouldn't be a bad photo except that the image quality has suffered quite a bit. It seems totally unnecessary, too, since b/w generally takes up less KB than color, so there should have been no reason not to upload it at full size. |
