I like the composition but maybe cropping it the slightest bit more[like keeping a quarter of the ashtray and more negative space in the image]the use of b/w is an interestind idea.. Maybe the light should have been gentler so the cigarette wasn't so blown out by it..

I think you should have been closer to the subject because the leaves take away the attention because they seem to be getting most of the flash.. other then that maybe you could have more to the left because the road seems it could have been used more as a backdrop because leading lines are often considered more interesting..

I find the lighting to be slightly more subdued then I'd like but it's still rather dramatic and contrasts well with the more serene set up inside..
