Just in case you don't go back to the thread: I gave you a 7 and I liked the image and especially the shadow but there is a hot spot on the face and that might have made voters give a low score. The problem sometimes is not the monitor being good or bad but the calibration. I saw my own entry really bright and many people said it was too dark. I suggest you check how it looks in at least one more monitor before submitting.

I did tell you I would post the original and the processing steps only I need some time to re do it to remember how. I think I meant my June 01 entry though, would you rather see it for that one or for this one?

I love his expression and the hand in the frame, the composition really works. The only thing is that it looks like you desaturated too much though, it looks a little flat IMHO. Keep up the good work!
