Strong work Joe, interesting how the layers of color, texture, and movement result in a "simple" image. It also demonstrates an excellent use of a bright blue sky. Just the right amount in the composition to define the horizon and put a sense of peace over the scene. I can see this in BW, but it would create a different mood, particularly with that sky.

Great stuff. Canadian geese are a favorite of mine. I ran over one with my bicycle when I was living in Philly. This scene brought back memories, although the goose eventually got up and went on her merry way.
