The sky is a problem for me, because it is not a natural gradient, or a solid color. Looks like some areas have been dodged and other areas burned. Pretty red color and good flag detail.

Somber image. As I study the image, I see the American flag being whipped around. Almost invisible and ghost-like, but I see it.

Really flapping in the wind, aren't they. Was the pole being moved in the wind, too. Might have been more effective to have something in the scene static, so we could be grounded in the scene.

She seems distracted irritated by the photographer. Looks like the wind might be blown back her hair, so it meets the challenge. I don't much like the blur vignette, but it does throw attention to the subject.

Not sure about the id, but I'll guess an immature Franklin's Gull, Leucophaeus pipixcan. Very nice feathers blown by the wind. Excellent clarity and feather detail. 9
