Well, this is a mighty fine b&w landscape. Tangentially, it DOES meet the challenge. But, then I am very tolerant. You make a good point with this photo, as I'll guess you are getting slammed. It's the best photography in the challenge. I'll bump it up to a "10". Sorry if this frustrates a perverse effort to achieve a brown ribbon with this quality image. 10

Thanks for your comment, but this image matches what I saw with my eyes. Those who live at sea level will have never seen this kind of atmospheric event. I'm standing at 9500' above sea level. The cloud is 35 miles away and reaches up to 40,000 feet.
