Gothamby pdb209Comment: If the quality were better this would be my runaway favorite. Love the POV and the lens flare, but it's really hard to get past the softness, noise and artifacts. |

Taiwanese Starsby iraeComment: Thanks (except for you cretins with the 1 - 3 votes. I can hear you whining now, "But the sky isn't pitch black..." Try photography sometime). The rest of you are spot on w/r/t the straightness of the building. There was a cab parked in the place I should have shot from, and the combination of perspective distortion from tilting the camera to get the whole bldg in frame and barrel distortion from using the wide end of the zoom made for some pretty funky verticals and horizontals. Could be fixed in photoshop, but that's not allowed. Your comments are greatly appreciated. |

Needle in a haystack by mykolearyComment: Congratulations! One thing, though; are you sure about that aperture setting? That's a pretty huge depth of field for f2.5, even for a digicam. |

Needle in a haystack by mykolearyComment: So sharp it hurts, and very nice color. Did you try any different compositions? They'd be interesting to see. |

"Orbs?"by JJartComment: Looks like the falling snow caught your flash. I actually find the top half more interesting than the bottom, and a better fit for your title. |

A Night at the Josh Houseby DominicComment: This seems to me to be composed backwards, with the interesting bit of the building upstaged by the dull, flat wall at R. It does have a nice shadow on it, though. Setting the white balance to match the light source would have helped. Good subject. |
