Boys best friendby liltoolComment: I like the way you've filled the frame with these two, and the choice of bg works well to avoid distractions. Great expression on the boy, too. I'm a little less happy with the dog. I guess it's grabbing a ball or something, but with his head turned that way it's hard to make out. Combined with the tucked in tail, the dog's whole posture bothers me a little. You could increase contrast for more 'pop'. |

Hannah restsby ZeissmanComment: The composition, contrast and textures are very nice here, but it really needs some more of baby's face (almost entirely hidden in shadow. I can make out most of her nose and a little of her mouth, but her other eye is just not showing). Increasing the gamma to 1.3 might work, but would take the edge off of the blacks and reduce the apparent contrast. Maybe it would work high-key. Best bet would have been to reflect or shine some light onto her face. |

Looking in the Shed at Nightby HoltwComment: I'd like it a little brighter, but the tonal range is pretty good and it's nice and sharp. The window makes a nice frame. What if there were something to see in the shed? |

Stunning In Any Colorby cthenkComment: Is this really a photograph? Looks like either a photo of a drawing, or a pencil filter in post-processing. Assuming you're legit, it's very interesting. How did you get the background to underexpose so perfectly under such diffuse lighting? The centered composition is a bit static - maybe cropping up from the bottom to 427X640 would give it a little more life. |

My Toolsby GraciousComment: Okay... fooled me. {g} Still, very good - much moreso than the score indicates. |

My Toolsby GraciousComment: Just when I was growing sure that you couldn't take an interesting photo of a light fixture from below, here you go. Very cool tools. Is that spraypaint on the bulbs? Excellent tones, though the sharpness could be better. Congrats! |

Don't Come Any Closer!by SonifoComment: Good tone, good background, and well-armed cutie. Maybe a lighter hat next time to keep it out of the background. High marks. |

Mysteryby GrayerSkiesComment: I think brightening the midtones a little would preserve the mystery while making the subject slightly more 'there'. Top and R could be cropped. Taken on stage? |
