I like the idea, but a little soft and grainy. For something so definitely black and white I'd personally prefer more contrast.

Size, no lensecap. There needs to be ONE thing in focus for our eye to settle on in any shot of this type. Otherwise we think, "What are we supposed to be looking at? And why?"

Maybe your lenscap IS the main subject of your photo, but we shouldn't be forced to rely on your title to know that. Maybe you consider it "thinking outside the box" but photographically there is no interest, so you get points for meeting challenge (and only because you told me you did) but none for anything else.
