Thanks to all who took time to look and vote. I'm very happy with my results on my first challenge. I was disappointed by the lack of comments because I really want to learn, but I realise I DID learn.
I concentrated on the technical aspects and they must have been okay, but the picture was just "nice". It had absolutely no WOW factor. But one step at a time! I always think up ideas but don't know how to bring them to reality and that's what I'm learning here. I can't believe how much I've absorbed just in a couple weeks!.

On looking at this one again I think the problem for me is that they're too isolated. I'd be more comfortable if there was an OOF park or something there. Does that make sense?

Hmm, sounds like we have a little intolerance here?
Personally, I don't take find comfort in religion but I didn't mark any of the religious subjects down for that, first because the theme was something that gives YOU comfort, and secondly because this is a photography site, not a theological one. I applaude you for going with something I'm sure you knew wouldn't score well with some.
