It's funny, I never imagined that people wouldn't be able to see/infer/guess that these are slippers. Footwear challenge, what else could they be??? But I live in a household where odd/weird/slightly skewed is the norm so my mind naturally tends to slide a little off-center. I even discarded one of my shots because I didn't like the black line down the backs where the opening showed... should have used that one, I guess!
Thanks to those who took the time for a second and even a third look. Some figured it out eventually, some didn't, but I appreciate those who made the effort and didn't dismiss it out of hand.
I still had a blast doing this picture, I like it, and I learned lots, both technically and about what viewers here want/like. Thanks again, even if I didn't QUITE get the brown!
