This is an absolutely beautiful photograph (love the classic, gallery-style frame you've used, too), but I'm not sure how it relates to the challenge. (Not that I couldn't just be a bit dense this morning, I haven't finished my coffee yet...) Lovely tonal range, very nice composition. Overall a lovely shot. 8

Technically very good shot that actually "speaks" without needing a title. I might have tried it in portrait format to capture a bit more shadow and eliminate the extra white space at the edges. The lower right corner also has a dark spot that's a bit distracting. But the lighting works really well and you've set it up really nicely.

This is a lovely shot, but I'm distracted by what seems to be horizon tilt - may or may not be, due to your relation to the dock, but it pulls my attention away from the beached boat.
