The Diveby slickshooterComment: a lovely image, but it would hve been better if you had cropped out the wharf in the bottom left. |

On the Canby danthesquidkidComment: a great idea, very funny. i wish it weren't completely out of focus, and the horizontal was level. |

The last breathby Rino63Comment: this is the start of a lovely image. the motion capture is extremely well done, and works very well, as does the composition. however, the background is very distracting, with a texture that draws attention away from the subject. if it were darker and more regular, tht would help a lot. soting out the bits of fluff in teh foreground would make a difference too. a 6, but could have been much, much higher... |

Eyesblur_CR.jpgby carisakD70Comment: hi carisa, thanks for the nice comment. what i did with the eyes in this one was:
select with magnetic lasso
feather 5 pixels
adjustment layer - slective colour
- adjust neutrals (is it, or is grey? the one with the little grey square)
- play with the cyan, magenta and yellow until you get the colour you want. this does only give one colour, so you don't get the variation of colour of a saturated area in a colour photograph, but it's a little more subtle than really bumping up the saturation.
 single colour
 RGB saturation |

Last Whisperby xianartComment: this was shot with a lensbaby. no post processing blurring at all - in fact i sharpened with high pass! looking back i probably should have used a smaller aperture (a little rubber/metal ring that you slip on top of the optic in a lensbaby!), but i was carried away with the whole newness of the lensbaby, baby! it's a very steep learning curve with this lens. i shot about 30 of this, to get the focus i wanted. i ended up having to sit in the hallway just to get this much of the room in the view. i was probably about 25 feet away from the trunk. |
