The Broad Road and the Narrow Roadby abimalechComment: We tend to get one of these book and glasses images every challenge. I guess its easier than actually getting out and taking an image of something slightly more interesting.
However, it tends to get repetitive and dull in the extreme after a couple of years. This may be your first attempt, but the genre is just so tired now. Please try to be a little more creative.
I'm sorry if that is a little brutal but someone has to be honest instead of just pressing '4' and skipping on to the next challenge entry. |

On the sideby XShadowComment: Nice use of repetition and the red seats. Isn't going to ribbon, but is still a hidden gem |

Streets on Sundayby EquilibristComment: Over exposed, bland and without a real point to the photo.
Sorry thats rude, but its my honest 1st impression, and those are probably the same thoughts that many voters had before skipping on. |

Rickshaw rideby picturejockeyComment: OK I'm gessing you are in Asia somewhere, possibly India - so am I for the next week or so.
These rickies are a great source of images if you find the trick to capturing them. Stand at the side of the road with a 50 mm lens, set the exposure to 1/20th second and pan with the passing ricky. Many will be blurred, but one or two will be pin sharp with the background well out of focus. Try it it real fun, you get so many strange looks from passers by ;-) |
