Psychicby WadeComment: very strange composition, dark areas of shadow in bottom left and background dropped off in top right. Bland lighting doesn't help either.
Still life photography requires attention to detail and superb lighting to achieve results. This image suffers from a lack of both these unfortunately. |

I Do Nailsby OneSweetSinComment: I get the feeling of falling over the top of this image, as though the top is closer to the camera than the bottom, very uncomfortable.
I think its the shadows and lighting that give this impression |

My Yarn Basketby GermaineComment: Nice colours but bland in other ways. The image is a simple still life which usually rely on lighting to provide the 'WOW' factor. Would be a good stock image but not a contest winner. |
