OK, what can we see here. A nice subject, meets the challenge OK, but the image is technically flawed.
Cropped too close at the top and not close enough at the bottom - usually its better to leave a little more space above than below your main subject.
Very harsh lighting too - I'm gessing around noon looking at the shadows. Not the ideal time of day for photography.
And the low angle has placed the white contrasty stones exactly where you don't want them, right accross the middle of the image and worse still exactly where the fawn's head and body are.

Hmmm, I think you are trying too hard. The sun peeping through trees at sunrise is a real tempting subject, but you have to be in the right place. This isn't an inspiring location and therefore the image doesn't make me want to be there.
