He Wakes Me Too Earlyby fotomann_foreverComment: Compositionally this feels awkward. there is a very definite vertical split bang on half way.
The bird feels squashed into the right hand side of the frame. Also that chicken wire in the background needs to be less obvious. A bigger apperture might have dropped it out of the DOF a little more. |

30 seconds Too Earlyby KHoltComment: Nicely shot, nicely lit, nicely composed. Nothing I can pick on as a flaw, just lacks ribbon juice. |

Not Quite Sun-Upby GeneralEComment: Not quite sun up, and not quite a winner. Very bland blue sky and very bland black base. Not much to see really. Needs to have some interest somewhere for the eye to rest on. Going to have to vote this a 4, sorry |

Waiting...by AllanLComment: Nice rim lighting on the model. One suggestion, just a step or two to the right would have brought the advertisement and the model closer together allowing you to put a little more space behind her. I feel she is sat right on the edge of the frame which feels awkward |

Norgeby lacorcholataComment: Don't get the link with 'too early'.
Nice enough portrate though, maybe a little too much black down the bottom of the frame - possibly crop it to bring the face and light into prominence |

Too Early to Open Their Eyesby angela_packardComment: Going for the Ahh vote ;-)
unfortunately there is just too much clutter in the background. You had a terrific opportunity to get a very simple and effective aaaaaaaah, but you destroyed the opportunity by allowing the viewers eye to wander aimlessly around your image.
Just a tightly cropped close up of the pups would have been so much more effective. Less is more. |

Waiting on Santaby popdeepopComment: What are my first thoughts - clutter, no real lighting plan to make the eye go to the main subject, in fact what is the main subject? the bears? the hearth? the tree?
Composition and lighting needs more work |
