the night beforeby thaasjeComment: This image is in need of a lot of work to bring it to something worthwhile.
The foreground is a real mess, and needs to be pin sharp or not there at all.
The colour cast (orange) needs to be removed.
The main subject needs to be lit to bring it to the viewers attention.

Quiet on the Riverby sestevensComment: Nice muted tones, maybe stepping a little further left would have made the composition a little better with a nice diagonal leading line. As it is the pier is neither diagonal or horizontal. |

Waiting for the tide to turn...by susanhComment: Nice enough. Flat lighting though.
Also maybe step forward and make the space below the hull and the space above the mast a little more equal. |
