"Checkmate"by NigelComment: Chess...the natural choice for a B/W challenge. Why didn't I think of that? This is very well done. I like the fairly shallow DOF. My only gripe is the position of the pawn. It is perfect composition wise, but it feels very strange to have a pawn on the edge of the board from a chess point of view. |

Lot's Of Black And White Bullby sallyjo1Comment: I'm sorry, I just can't get into this image. The horizon is rather tilted, the background is busy, the light is harsh, and the subject is a beat up fake cow. I applaud your effort and success in finding a B/W object, but it just doesn't do it for me. |

Nataraj-The lord of danceby paniraComment: That's a cool statue, but I think everything is just too yellow/brown to work well in this challenge. A touch of sharpening to bring out the detail and texture might help as well. |
