Pretty cool photo. Nice motion capture of the wave. For this challenge, I would like this better if the horizon and the large horizontal stone were closer to the thirds lines.

This is beautiful. Very lovely soft fall colors. The only thing I don't like is the orange line border. Gives it a Halloweeny feel. (no deduction for the border, by the way).

Good idea and interesting subject. It's almost abstract. The only thing holding this back for me is the composition (well, and the size - I recommend always using the full 640 on a side). I think it would be more dynamic and meet the challenge more strongly in a landscape crop with the clover shape centered on the top left thirds line intersection.

Nice find and a beautiful photo. The colors seem slightly muted to me, maybe a touch more contrast would help. I think a little bit of USM would do wonders as well. Overall, I like this a lot.

Horse Sense

That horse has character. He certainly looks like he is deep in thought. Nice use of the rule to draw the eye down his long face to the most interesting (to me) part of the picture, his nose!

This is a great picture. It would have done better in a different challenge, methinks, but what can you do. I really like the texture and the shallow DOF. Is it just me, or does the flower look like it is made out of skillfully folded toilet paper?
