A magnetized bit of rebar with some iron filings stuck to it? Looks great. I like the B/W and the sharp focus on the tip. Cool bokeh too.

Nope, no clue. I think I would like it better without the water. Maybe even a shallower DOF with just the front plane and a touch beyond in focus.

Stain on the carpet? Mold on a wall? It's hard to tell in B/W (that was probably part of the point). I certainly like the look, but it doesn't hold my interest for very long.

The center of some kind of flower? It looks cool in general, but I think it's a bit too dark and noisy. Could probably be a tad sharper, too.
