This is one of my top 4 images (which all received 10s) in this challenge. I love the way it looks so organic. I actually thought it was a shell when I saw the thumbnail (which I saw first), but this is so much better than the shell would have been. Anyone can shoot a shell, but you saw it in the staircase and processed it masterfully. I love the DOF, too. Well done!

I'm really not sure exactly what it is about this image that I find so captivating, but you're one of my top 3. I'm certainly a sucker for negative space, so that's part of it. Ah, well. Perhaps it's the undefinable character itself that I love.

Fantastic. I'm a sucker for cool fish shots in general, but this is extraordinary. I would have probably processed it a bit differently, but no matter, it's still wonderful. Hey, I just stumbled across this bad boy on 1x! Looks awesome in large. :)

Cute kid and pretty blue eyes. I find myself squinting too, but I think that's because it's a bit too overexposed/bright for me.

This is a cool capture (even if it's a zoo shot), but it's lacking a bit on the technicals. It seems overly smoothed out (like it's been neat imaged), and the whites are blown on most of right eagle's head.
