Pillars of Salamisby ssanComment: I'm afraid, but this shot does not really seem com posed according to the rule of the thirds. |

Deathby inutzaComment: Even if I like the idea and the composition, I find the fly too little and the negative space a bit too extended. |

Heavenly Hibuscusby BalkoComment: The composition is quite a good one. The bokeh is really great. But the light was not managed very well and the burned stamen is not so pleasant |

I Flyby TejComment: A nice portrait. I'm afraid I cannot see a lot of details on the head, but I think it could be the jpg compression. |

Queen of Diamondsby m2iwComment: I do not find anything that let me say this composition is based on the rule of thirds. OK the queen is entirely in one third, but my eyes are forced to follow the card border down to the "Q" damaging the effect of the rule. I think the problem is mainly that the photo is too complex, filled with interesting elements and lines.
In a few words: there is too much. |

ABSTRACT THIRDSby stonegateComment: The third composition is really accurate, but the subject and the colors are not interesting enough: the dirt and the rust are not very pleasant |

Waiting for a catchby shadeeuaComment: A good composition, an interesting subject and a good light management. I like it, but I'm afraid I cannot see enough details on the spider thorax. |
