NO! I'm not ready to let him go!by SonifoComment: This picture realy catched me. Although I looked at it several times I still feel a shiver. The submission needs the title, which is very strong. Compared to the other "death of a child"-submission in this one I can feel the feeling of the parents much stronger.
Technicaly it is a great picture too, only the cross could be a tad brighter. Not too much of course, it should stay in the back, but I had a hard time seeing at the beginning. Light, color-choice, sharpness etc. are all great.
My favorit this time.

St. Andrew's Crossby BudweezerComment: I like this picture for is use of a narrow DOF: the background gives a great surface for the nice flowers. The yeelow could have been increased though. Also the frame could be better, by adding for instance a black border too. Still a very nice submission |

Sunshine's Barby pikytoComment: Like the composition and title. You might have taken away some of the greenish/grey cast of the table and chairs. I like the mood of this submission.

Chancellors meal ?by micrixComment: It's a little hard to understand, even with the title: uncooked noodles with curry-ketchup!?
What I really like is the sharpness and the clear, smooth reflection on the knife and fork. Also the composition and cropping is well made. The yellow on the lemonade and the noodles could be a tad stronger though.
Good luck. |

A Whisper of Sunlightby GotchaComment: I like the composition of your image very much, also the color is great.
Very spiritual!
It's too noisy though and the spots on the left disturbe a little. |

CBR Nose Coneby EnzoComment: I like the clear color, the reflection and the setting of light.
Could have been aligned more symmetrical though.
Still a grat submission and good luck! |

A Yellow Rose in the Morningby jamesonComment: To be honest, I do not get a "fresh morning"-feeling on this flower. Of course there are some water-droplets on it, but one has to look twice to see them. You also might have considered to take away the upper leaf: it looks a little old.
Otherwise I like your submission with the dark background and the variation of the brightness on the flower. |

Up in The Airby BAMartinComment: Yellow and blue always go well and your submission is a great example for that.
I wonder why you didn't show us more of this crane? Would have been interesting. |

CITRUS PETALSby Pep VentosaComment: Composition and light are great, frame too. A little greenish IMO. Like the bubbles near the center of the lemon. Good luck. |

Knot Yellowby boyte1Comment: This is one of my favorits this week: extremely crisp, wonderfull colors and texture. I like the composition with its angle of view too. Only the upper portion, especially on the right side could be better: the diffuse black disturbes a little.
Still, due to the freshness and the clear color one of the best: Good Luck to you |
