out of the fogby margiemuComment: Nice effect. I fear for my camera in such misty moisty mornings. But I am glad you took the risk. |

Ghostly Shadowsby sherpetComment: That is a grand old tree. The number of times that each branch has divided on its way to becoming the finest twigs is amazing. |

After the Harvestby MarstonComment: Nice to see the farmer has not cut it down - as so many have done to hedgerows and trees. Farmers are a necessary evil - but they damage the countryside to a degree which is untenable at times. 7. |

Fallenby sadiebirdComment: Fallen trees are as dramatic as their standing brothers and sisters. |

Hard to Find a Single Tree...by tfarrell23Comment: Very lovely photo and choice of tones. The whole composition is great. I only wish it was a little bit on the brighter side. I'm viewing this with a superbright laptop monitor and I know that it is way brighter than it should be - yet your photo still comes over as being a little darker than it need be. 8. |

Foramenby breadfan35Comment: Your tree has a lot of suggestive forms in it. Meet that one on a partially lit, atmospheric night and one might just run... ;-) |

Nature's Promiseby novaComment: Roots grow in symbiosis with bacteria and fungus. That's why they take such a long time to develop and why trees often succumb to root shock when transplanted. Yours is an interesting botanical photo. |

Cassie's Gardenby ColeyComment: Nicely rendered in black and white. Your choice of depth of field is reveals the intricacies of nature especially in the reaped field. The white gown is so pure against the rustic setting. I also like the pose - but the girl's head is, to me, slightly in an odd position overlapping the tree. But overall, very nice. 8. |

Trunkby meo729Comment: The trunk lacks a little in texture - but the nice green leaves make up for that lack, in part. |
