Of the photos you uploaded in this series, this is the one I like best. It seems to be less rough around the edges, has more distinct definition on the far rocks, and transports the viewer out to sea through the gap between the rocks thereby taking the eye away from the gulls (which to me alone seem a little soft but are probably not in reality). 0.02 cents.

This is your 17-40 on the 5D, right? Extraordinary images. Remind me somewhat of some vast political prewar gathering... The visual perfection you continually strive to achieve (and do); the people en masse in coordinated circumstances of focused attention; the one or few people that are the subject of that attention; and the surreal coloured setting of a semi-religious experience that is going on; all come over with significant visual power. I have been to events like these - but your images are somewhat - to me anyway - awe inspiring.

Lovely journalistic photograph. It looks like the New York Taconic State Parkway to me - but I bet it looks like many a road in North America. If those cops were not sitting there doing absolutely nothing about the cause of the jam they'd be sitting there picking off drivers over 55. 8.
