Over the Edge by IreneMComment: Irene, congratulations on your first ribbon (with your first entry) with this excellent image. It is wonderful that you got such good results in your own kitchen. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your photography. Welcome to DPC! |

Sorry, I thought I'd typed that in. Set to Shutter priority at 1/30 sec. Aperture went to F13 in this case. I like 1/30 for panning, as it seems to work well for quite a variety of subjects. |

Excellent take on the challenge (one of my top picks), and now your top 10 shots are all 7+ scores. Nice! |
Thanks! That's cool, I hadn't noticed that. But, I got my average to go over 6, FINALLY!!!!! |

Frangipani Bouquetby sherpetComment: It's so hard to imagine Summer now for me, with all the snow outside. Beautiful image, the colours again are very good. |

Natures Paletteby sherpetComment: Absolutely beautiful! I love the texture, and the composition, but most of all I really love the colour scheme - it's just perfect. |

arpeggioby ursulaComment: Thank you. It's one of those plastic multicoloured things sold at dollar stores that people hang outside or on their porches, to twirl in the wind. |

Another Rainy Dayby JPRComment: I just love this shot. Stuff like this just doesn't do all that well here, but it's good, very good.
You know, if you move the screen up and down while looking at the shot (scroll with the mouse), it looks like the raindrops are moving, like they're just hitting the puddle. It's really neat. You got me looking at bricks and mud now (OK, I was looking at them before, but I'm looking even more now).
And it is upside down, right? Message edited by author 2006-02-13 00:59:30. |
