Light as a Feather

Nicely photographed. The background is really white, although on my screen, I don't know if it's an illusion or not, it almost looks like a very, very, very light gradient from blueish tones at the top to pinkish tones at the bottom. I think the image suffers from having the subject so dead centre, and also from having the subject look like it is just floating in the air, and I don't know why or what. Hope this helps. ~6
