Or else what?!?!? It could be a closeup of a leaf maybe. As much as I like selective focus, I think, in this case, the image would benefit from being sharp all over. The light glares also hurt a bit. I like the golden colours. ~5

hairbrush I pressume? I'm not sure the hairs work as an advantage to the photo, or as a distraction. I like the selective focus on the second row, but I also think moving the camera ever so slightly upwards to avoid the two little red intrusions at bottom left would be good. The colours in the background are nice, but again, I'm not sure if they benefit the image or distract. ~5

Mardi-gras beads, or some other kind of beads? It's a good idea, and the colours are quite dramatic. As an composition though, it is difficult to tell where the point of interest is - it's like there's colour all over, but not anything in particular to attract long-time attention or keep the viewer looking. Your focus seems to be right at the left hand side of the image, the darkest section of the whole picture. It might have been better to focus on a brighter, more attractive place, such as the green bead at the right towards the bottom. ~5

No idea what it is (although obviously not natural, he, he). I like the composition, it works quite nicely. I also like the light on the metal, the soft reflection, and in particular the sparkles in back left. ~8

Those vases are very handy :) I have a couple clear ones (like this one), and a number of coloured ones. They certainly look almost human at times, when you notice the beautiful curves. ~8

Is this a closeup of a styrofoam egg carton, with coloured water (or something like that) in the egg holder spaces? It's quite a good idea, and I like the final result. My one little nitpick is that it's not centred squarely. IMHO, it either needs to be centred dead on, or off centre in a more dramatic way. ~8

clothespin? Beautiful closeup. I'm having a hard time figuring out if the focus works as it is, or doesn't. It's troublesome, when looking at it, that the front most part of the image is out of focus, and also that it is somewhat difficult to tell exactly where the focus is. But then, there's that little section inside the pin, where it's clear, and it looks beautiful. Anyway. ~7
