Melanie, this so so absolutely beautiful (although I am biased, hehe). You did a wonderful job with this image, I love the play of sharp/not sharp, and the contrast between the golden seed pods and the clear blue/greens pink/purples in the background.

I have been considering using a 50mm reversed, and after seeing this I will definitely try it now (after I buy the reversing ring). So now you can count yourself as being inspiration for me :)

Congratulations, Mae! I was hoping for this to be on the frontpage, but, c'est la vie. I am not a fan of purple, but you make this colour look just right.

I like the picture, and I'm sort of split on whether the editing is too much or not. The editing stands out, and, usually, when I notice the editing before the picture, it bothers me. I'm not sure with this one. It works wonders with the truck. Got to think about it ...

Very different. It bothers me a bit that the image looks tilted to the left, and I'm wondering if it is intentional. If so, to my eyes it is not working, not so much because of the people tilting, but because of the backdrop, the pinkish hills behind the people. It is interesting to look at though. Added to favourites. ~9
