on a more specific level, I like how the fake smudge looks like motion blur on her hand, which combines well with the flying hair of the turning head.

I think Philip Levine used this image but I haven't been able to find it. And while we're talking about unfound poems, there's also a poem about a Roman Emperor who was used as a footstool. Can't find that one, either. True story, though. Look it up. You'll find him. But not the poem. |
