art can be a bit sentimental at times, dwelling in a glimmer when there's work to be done. sometimes art dares to share space with that other, older, force called love. It can easily go wrong, but such art is fearless. and, besides, failing in the name of love is the best way to fail.

two things I like about this. the painterly processing, which might just be a filter but it works particularly well for his hand. the second is the close crop which still has all the important details: the hand on the reins, the rope, horse's mane

my first impulse was ugh, fireworks, but I like how you include the people and that strange structure on the right. This is not a big corporate fireworks show, this is a homemade event, and you captured some of that spirit.
