Roses by MelethiaComment: yes, if we must have roses let's cut them apart with sunlight, let's show them the thorns of our resolve. |

1 of 3by instepsComment: Yeah, I like this grouping. It feels right. Something intimate about it. Not in a comforting sort of way, in a close sort of way. Could be dangerous, getting so close. |

Heat.1by mariucaComment: This photo is an inspired mess of lines. I think God is an abstract expressionist, madder than Pollock. But in the rest of the series you propose a calmer God, one who might actually know what He is doing, until the 4th photo, which is disorienting, even a little dizzying, and you realize that God is cycling back to madness again. Ah, this explains my history books. |

black bettyby rozComment: insteps is better at composition than I am, but I like this one, with the head more centered. For me it accentuates the feeling of a head floating in space... a sheep brain floating in a vat, controlling the Internet, or something... |

1 of 3 - Through Hotel Windowby instepsComment: this series has the problem of one photo being too good, and that's this photo.
this reminds me of the first landscapes, which would have one or more people tucked into a corner to show the majesty of nature. They were Romantic paintings, capital R. This man is proudly part of what surrounds him. This man is the kind of man who built these surroundings. |
