this could fulfill the challenge in one of two ways: the shapes of the face's contour around the eye, or the implied shape of the eyeball. The narrow depth of field works against both of those scenarios, though it creates its own interesting effects.

The bars and the shadows make rectangles, which fulfills the challenge. But I wish I could see those rectangles more "clearly"... cleanly?

this does have a separate existence as shapes on a flat plane, I just wish the illusion were more powerful, and I didn't keep remembering that this is just a camera pointing up. It's close though. Maybe if the shadows were different or the contrast were higher... I'm not sure.
