Lateral Displacementby Bear_MusicComment: I for one appreciate the grain. I'm sure you're taking a hit for it. I'm taking a huge hit for my blur effect. This is an example of a gimmick that is so good it transforms into art. I feel like I am both standing outside of you and standing inside your camera at the same time. In fact, I also feel like I'm standing in your moccasins. |

30 Minutes (Smoking & Looking Out For Bears)by shanelighterComment: 30 minutes of your life. you were overgenerous and end up giving us just a ball of light. but what can we really know of a person anyway? at least here we sense that we've shared something with you, even if ignorantly. A profound statement on the limitations of the observer. 8. |

Migrantby mandyturnerComment: Nice homage. The child's expression is hilarious, it makes your expression seem overserious, turning the whole picture into a wonderful self-parody. |

Rubber Duckies Invade Local Ecosystemby posthumousComment: This shot was the end of a rubber duckie race for charity. yes, it was a fair-related sort of thing. Not posed! A real news item, just not as interesting a news item as I made it out to be. :) |

Paint It Black, Jackby gsalComment: I always think it's a great way to make a portrait of an artist: have him blend right into his work. 8. |
