This shot is so beautiful, I almost wish that eye weren't there, but it doesn't actually keep the shot from being beautiful. Instead, it makes me feel tricked. I believe this was the true goal of the Dadaists and some of the Surrealists, and often Man Ray. I like being tricked. It doesn't happen often at DPC. As far as I'm concerned, you win the Steve Davidson challenge. Your prize? Steve Davidson, of course! I hope you have someone home during the day to accept packages. ok, I'm sorry to get technical on such a funny photo, but I would have liked this better without that reflection. The reflection just reminded me that they were on a tabletop (or whatever it is), and kinda spoiled the illusion for me (I'm easily spoiled: they call me "warm milk"). I *love* the graininess because it makes me feel like I'm watching a gritty crime thriller.

I like how the lines disappear before they go out of frame. I also like the very subtle horizontal lines. And yes, the odd shape in the corner! Then there are the shapes of light as well. All adds up to a good composition.
