My youngest Beautiful Daughterby GunnsiComment: she looks airbrushed. I was going to tell you whether or not I liked that, but it's irrelevant, isn't it? some people will like it, some won't. |

Waiyanby kiwinessComment: a striking composition livens up an otherwise sterile studio model shot. |

Silent Rhythmby Jason_CrossComment: Feel free to ignore me, but I just have to suggest the Star Wars method. The first Star Wars movie was a revolution in special effects because the spaceships were dirty. They looked used. Used things hold far more interest than brand new things. Used things hold the spirit of all those who have used them. Show us a drum that's been played! |

abandonedby librodoComment: I think the barbwire beret suggests more than just abandonment. I think you're overwhelming your photo with symbolism at that point. But visually and esthetically it is a very pleasing picture. The perfect make-up and the barbed wire keep it from affecting me emotionally, however. 6 |

Prayersby theresafloresComment: great title shifts attention to people in the background. I would love to see this without the colors disrupting the composition. |

8 monthsby ksmith2Comment: I'm fascinated by the convention of showing the wedding ring for nude pregnant shots. It's kind of a submissive gesture in the midst of an otherwise brazen display of feminine power. "See, look, I had some help." Or maybe it's, "see? the baby's official. the baby's accounted for." I think maybe it seems more odd when you're not even showing the face of the pregnant woman. Maybe you're trying to make a statement about traditional families, but then again traditional families don't go showing their privates. Oh wait, *photography* comments... well, you clearly know how to light a subject. No blown out areas, just enough highlight to make out the form and show texture. |
