this is a wonderful portrait, and I only gave it a 6... :( It must have been that cheap watch. No... a momentary madness, I was hypnotized by looking through hundreds of free study photos. I saw lots of photos that I liked (I know, I'm too easy!) and I was trying to be ruthless. You have got to be one of the most underrated photographers here, but it's a role you play well. :)

She has discovered the tooth of a wolf who killed her grandmother. Of course, she does not realize this, so she will keep it on her shelf underneath an upside-down shotglass of her father's. At night, when the moon hides behind a cloud and all is dark, she hears the clinking of glass. It reminds her of a Polish folksong that she has never heard. Her father is in the den, angrily clutching a bottle of Tequila.

I love many of your photos, but I can't help but feel like you're coasting with this one. You know, do something weird, process it the usual way, voila! instant masterpiece. I'll give you a 7 because this is still interesting and well-done, but be sure to recharge your battery because you've got a terrific engine.
