Running Booby kashiComment: striking. a little sun child. I like the position he's in, one foot raised as if in defiance of us. I'm curious if the shadows are real or if you used idnic's dreaded lighting technique. |

Joggingby mia67Comment: wonderful. I love the stiffness of the girl's pose and smile even though she's running! It reminds me of print advertisements from the 50s and 60s, when everyone was so damn happy. The zigzag of the road serves to emphasize the superhuman energy of this girl. The viewer naturally assumes that she has navigated this entire zigzag with the same boundless energy.
Finally, you have one child with his hands outstretched as if to catch the wind and cause the entire assemblage to take to the air. And then you have the other child, who shares the disbelief and cynicism of the viewer. |

The Force That Through the Green Fuse . . .by raishComment: notice the man in the upper right looks down at the people in the photo below him... and in that photo the woman looks at the man, and the man looks over at the third photo, which seems nothing less than the "force" itself, the force that gives life and the force that takes it. This photo gets smarter every time I look at it. |

Bug - 2½ yearsby kashiComment: I like the serious expression. If this were my niece, I would prefer this over the smiling portraits, since they usually look so fake. Then again, a genuine smile is a real pleasure. I enjoy the ambiguity of her expression, though. |

yes, and because we only see his eye, it's like we're only seeing the wonderment, not seeing him at all. Which some people will hate, and which I love.
Plust it's just a great abstract composition, with his circular head being balanced by squarish forms. you even have round yellow forms up top to balance the colors! |
