There's a nice sense of radiating lines in this photo. and some nice greens up top. It's subtle things like this that make the difference between pretty and pretty boring.

p.s. I disagree about the contrast. I actually like that the photo looks flat. The cliff doesn't look much further away than the beach at my feet. I like that effect. Like I said, anything to distinguish it from all the other landscapes.

Reflections - Nature's Double Take

well, there's the picture and then there's the challenge. I like the picture alright. The odd green light and the faded backlighting give this a sense of mystery.

But to try to rope in lake reflections into double take is a scarifying idea. Imagine if other people decided to do this. The challenge would fill up with yawnworthy landscape shots. Yikes.
