K I S Sby NullixComment: just to expand on my cryptic comment, there is of course negative space in this photo. The trouble is that the squared-off shape of your subject doesn't make that negative space interesting. Usually, negative space is emphasized when it has its own shape. The classic example is two faces looking at each other. The space between the two faces looks like a vase. See the wikipedia entry for negative space. |
